We come together today to remember and celebrate the life of Louise Watson, a cherished individual whose legacy is imbued with love, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Born on June 27, 1935, in Russell County, Alabama, Louise’s journey began. Her story continued until December 20, 2024, when she passed away peacefully at her residence in Lanett, Alabama, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Louise found joy in her immaculately kept home, her vibrant flower garden, which she tended with care, and in the delicate artistry of her crochet work. These facets of her life gave her immense pleasure and allowed her to express her creativity.
Louise Watson embodied the true essence of being loving, kind, and thoughtful—a bright soul who made the world a more beautiful place. Today, we bid her farewell, but her spirit lives on in the hearts and memories of those who loved her.
Funeral services for Louise will be held on Monday, December 23rd, 2024, at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
