On November 5th, 2024, a Lee County resident reported a burglary and theft in the 200 block of Lee Road 690, in the Beauregard community of Lee County. The victim reported that several firearms, firearm accessories, ammunition, reloading equipment, reloading components, and various tools were stolen. These items taken were valued at $28,090.

On January 17th, 2025, Macon County Sheriff’s Office Investigators recovered one of the stolen firearms while executing a search warrant in the 1200 block of Hardwich Street in Notasulga.

On January 23rd, 2025, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office along with the Macon County Sheriff’s Office and Notasulga Police Department executed an additional search warrant at the Hardwich Street address in Notasulga. During the search, Investigators recovered approximately $25,000.00 worth of the property stolen from Lee County.

Investigators identified Thomas Harold Bullington III (42) and his girlfriend Alicia Christine Johnson (53), both from Notasulga, as the ones responsible for committing the Burglary in Lee County. Bullington was arrested by the Macon County Sheriff’s Office and is currently being held in the Macon County Jail on unrelated charges. Johnson was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft of Property 1st Degree. She is being held in the Lee County Jail on an $8,000.00 bond. Bullington will be Charged through Lee County when he is released.

 

               

The case is still under investigation and more charges are expected.
