On 05/14/2024 at approximately 1:39 PM the Lanett Police and EMS were notified of a male victim in the 1200 block of 1st Street whom had sustained a gunshot wound to the back.
In the course of the investigation a residence in the 1300 block of 1st Street was discovered to have been struck by gunfire. None of the occupants of the home were injured.
