On Monday, the Lanett Council named Jamie Heard (No, not the Mayor, but the other Jamie Heard) as Interim Fire Chief after the passing of Johnny Allen.
Councilman Tony Malone read a Resolution naming Heard as the Interim Fire Chief, which was unamiously passed by the council.
