January 30, 1992 ~ November 17, 2024 (age 32)

Keith L. Jenkins, Jr., affectionately known as “Fatt Daddy” to those who knew him best, embodied the essence of kindness and approachability throughout his 32 years of life. Born on January 30, 1992, in Saginaw, Michigan, Keith was a source of positivity that left an indelible mark on the world with his charisma and ever-giving spirit until his peaceful passing in Valley, Alabama, on November 17, 2024.

A devoted family man, Keith’s legacy is carried forward by his adoring wife, Misty Jenkins; their cherished children Dakota with his spouse Makalia, Noah, Nevaeh, and Keirra Jenkins; and his precious grandchildren, Carter and Elijah, who brought immense joy to his life. The son of Alicia and Keith Jenkins, Sr., Keith was the cornerstone of a loving family, which also included his grandparents Olen and Mildred Tittle, Kayron and Luciose Lewis; passionate siblings Keymont Jenkins (and his wife Stephanie), Mekiah, Keion, and Keyonna Jenkins; alongside many adoring nieces and nephews—Isabella, Amiri, Lorenzo, Jacob, Brayden, Travis, Asher, Lilly, and Kayden. Keith’s wide-reaching love touched his in-laws Pam and Mark Ennis, his brother-in-law Jeremy Gordon (with his wife Cassie), and his sisters-in-law Lindsey Webb (with her husband Bradley) and Brooke Aadil (with her husband Kamal). Aunt Angela Jenkins, Lakeisha Powell, Anndrea and Adriann Lewis, uncles Otis Haynes and Ayron Lewis, and a special family member, Cecilia Castillo, also survive Keith, along with many cousins and friends. His grandparents Ora Marie Jenkins, Janet Marie Haynes, and Larry Smith, who preceded him in death, undoubtedly held a special place in his heart.

Keith was a remarkable individual who thrived in his roles as a husband, father, and grandfather. Never uttering a negative word, he enveloped everyone he met with open arms, instantly transforming strangers into friends. His innate ability to harmonize conflicts knighted him as the family’s peacemaker, a title he carried with dignity and unwavering compassion.

His life outside the home was equally rich and fulfilling. Keith’s love for adventure found him cheering enthusiastically for the University of Michigan’s sports teams and engaging in friendly basketball games with his son. His hobbies spanned from the melodies of music to the mechanical challenges of working on cars. An enthusiastic cook and traveler, Keith sought the experiences of the world, yet his love for family was the compass that guided his every journey.

Remembered for his adventurous spirit, kindness, and friendly demeanor, Keith leaves behind a legacy written in the countless hearts he touched. His memory is cherished as a treasure in the lives of all who were privileged to know him. Keith endeavored to spread love wherever he went, a mission that he accomplished with effortless grace. His passing has dimmed the light of a deeply admired soul, but his spirit shines eternal in the lives of his loved ones.
