Joshua Stephen Hutchins Obituary

September 11, 1983 ~ June 20, 2025 (age 41)

We are heartbroken to share the news of the sudden passing of Joshua Stephen Hutchins, 41, of Valley, AL, on June 20, 2025. He was a loving husband, amazing father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

He will be remembered for his humor, wit, love of animals, and passion for all sports including golf, and especially sports from The University of Alabama. Roll Tide!!

Born on September 11, 1983, in Lagrange, Georgia, to Jeff (Papa) and Tina (MeMe) Hutchins.

He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Brittney Hutchins; his 6 year old twin boys, Jackson and Landon; Parents, Jeff and Tina Hutchins; Sister, April Hutchins; Niece, Maggie Josephine Rennie; Aunts, Sue Sessums (Bo), Terri Brown (Austin, Brodee), Deb Bassett (Jamie, Jason); Uncle, Eddie Parrish (Susan); His cousins Robin Croft (Billy, Ashley, Hunter, Ronnee) and Adam Parrish (Sarah, Grady, John Luke, Dottie) who was truly more like a brother to him, Mother and Father-in-Law, Amy and Wayne King; Sister-in-Laws, Ashley Lavender (Brandon, Olivia), P.J. King (Penelope) and Shelby Spivey (Ryden, Marleigh, Benji, Ellie); Brother-in-Laws, Greg King, Taylor Fowler (Danielle, Linc, Theo, Sam).

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Luther and Jewell Hutchins, Roger and Dorothy Parrish.

A funeral service for Joshua will be held, 11:00 A.M. (EST), Friday, June 27, 2025, at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home, Valley, Alabama. Pastor Rusty Letson will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. (EST), Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the funeral home.
