Wood, GVACC Announces Big Upcoming Event: Chamber To Host Inaugural Clover and Coles Battle Of The Badges Barbecue Cook Off

VALLEY- At Monday’s Valley Council meeting, Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce  Executive Director Carrie Wood announced some big news coming up this spring.

“On March 14th at Shawlman Airport, we are planning the inaugural Clover and Coles Battle of the Badges barbecue cook-off as we find out who truly is master of the grill.

We will have judges, and we will ask each mayor from our four cities to serve as one. If the mayors do not want to be the judges, we’re going to ask them to call on a representative from their respective city.

The mayors will not know whose product they are judging, because it will be coded. Only Harley and I will know whose product is whose.

 It’s going to be a family fun day. We’re going to have inflatables, as well as a band on the big stage.

We are in the first stages of that planning, and we will announce things as they progress”, said Wood.
