Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers will host the event Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. at its Opelika Career Center, located at 3740 Pepperell Pkwy. Organizers say the event will offer full and part-time positions with wages reaching up to $26 per hour.
Employers such as Southern Union Community College and Walmart will be on-site, looking to fill a variety of roles. Officials say job seekers should come prepared for immediate interviews and are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their résumés.
