Fatal Shooting: Lanett PD Responds to Weekend Shooting

Lanett- Lanett Police responded to a fatal shooting in 300 block of N. 12th Street in Lanett .

“Officers responded to the North 12th Street in reference to a shooting . Upon arrivall officers discovered, that 32 year old Alexander Stevenson had been shot. Stevenson was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries”, said Lanett Police Chief Denise McCain.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Lanett Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
