Deacon Hubert Ray, Jr. 92 of Five Points, AL passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Deacon Ray will lie in state at the church one-hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, 12:00 PM CST at Friendship Baptist Church #2 in LaFayette (Buffalo Community), AL, Pastor Curtis Spidell, Officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Deacon Ray is survived by his sons: Robert (Denise Elaine) Ray and Ricky (Jackie) Stevens, his daughter, Kathy Ray Jennings, daughter-in-law, Kimberly Lewis, grandchildren: Chad (Denise) Ray, Denice Ray, Jahanna Ray, Frankie (Alexandra) Jennings, and JaCorey Ray, ten great-grandchildren, a special friend, Gaynell Meadows and her daughters, Anita Copeland and Juanita Copeland Brown, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, extended families: Friendship Baptist church #2 and Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home.
