Daniels Promoted to Opelika Court Clerk

Opelika, AL – The City of Opelika is pleased to announce the promotion of Dorothy Daniels to Court Clerk. Daniels has been a dedicated employee of the City since February 2008, bringing years of experience and a strong commitment to public service.

Daniels began her career with the City of Opelika in the Records Division at the Opelika Police Department. In 2015, she transitioned to Opelika Municipal Court as a magistrate, where she has played a key role in court operations. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard, Danielsexemplifies leadership, discipline, and dedication in all she does.

“I give 100% at all times, and I’m passionate about my job,” said Dorothy Daniels.

In her new role as Court Clerk, Daniels will oversee the operations of Opelika Municipal Court, ensuring compliance with local ordinances and State of Alabama laws and regulations. Her extensive experience and dedication to the community make her well-suited for this important position.
