Daniel Woodrow “Woody” Meadows, age 32, of Valley, Alabama passed away on February 8th, 2026, in Valley surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 15th, 1993, in Opelika, Alabama.
Daniel was a Christian who loved his Lord and his family. He was a member of University Church of Christ in Auburn, Alabama. He was a Project Manager at Batson-Cook Construction. He enjoyed his job and was proud of it. He enjoyed traveling, hiking, backpacking, and just being outdoors. He loved soccer and coached youth soccer in Valley. He was an avid runner who liked to occasionally compete in half-marathons. He was a former President of the Rotary Club of West Point, Georgia and a big Auburn University fan.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Keturah Meadows; parents, Paul and Ellen Meadows; sister, Katie Herston (Jonathan); brothers, Mark Meadows (Bentley) and Will Meadows; mother-in-law, Janet Kuchinski; father-in-law, Brett Kuchinski; sister-in-law, Callie Kuchinski; brother-in-law, Kyle Kuchinski; nephews Sam Herston and Gaines Meadows; nieces, Cari and Zoe Herston and Goldie Meadows.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gervis and Teddie Meadows and Kate and Jr. Norred.
Funeral services for Daniel will be held on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at 2:30 PM (EST) at the Langdale Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Langdale Cemetery. Evangelist Ryan Hasty and Pastor Jonathan Herston will officiate. Daniel’s family will receive friends Friday afternoon at the church from 1:00 PM (EST) until the service hour.
