City of Lanett Recognizes Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention

On Monday, the Lanett Council issued a proclamation in support of Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month. Lanett Councilwoman Angela Thomas read the proclamation as Adrian Carpenter from the Circle of Care accepted on behalf of the Renew Hope Group, who has been instrumental in promoting awareness of Sex Trafficking locally.

It’s estimated that nearly 30 million people worldwide are a victim to Human Trafficking .
