On Friday, Valley Local hosted the long-standing tradition of Pancake Day in honor of the Valley Kiwanis Club. Members of the community volunteered to make the event a huge success, including Chambers County Sheriff Jeff Nelson, Judges Isaac Whorton, Terrance Brown, and Paul Story, as well as Auburn Bank’s Bruce Emfinger, ALFA Agent Steve Wheeler, Valerie Gray, Terri and Tracy Culpepper with Terri’s Mill Village Cafe.
Students from Valley and Lanett were also helping with the event while gaining valuable expierence as they either enter the workforce or go to college.
“Thank you to my hometown for helping us bring back one of my favorite childhood memory events.
I know so often I get a lot of the credit, but I sure can’t do anything that I do without my patient husband, CJ Crutchfield, our Valley Local Team, and our community’s support.
