Funeral service for Alphonza Finley, 67, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Tyrone Edwards will officiate.
Mr. Finley, who passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Arbor Lake Nursing Home in Opelika, Alabama, was born November 6, 1958, in Lee County. Alabama.
Public viewing will be on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: wife, Valarie Finley of Opelika, AL; three sisters, Wanda Ann Poythress of Opelika, AL, Annie Frances Finley of Snellville, GA and Pvella Finley of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, John Ed Finley, Jr. of Opelika, AL and Alvin Lee (Sheree) Finley of Montgomery, AL; three aunts, Earlene Randall, Ciola Pitts and Marion Oliver all of Auburn, AL; one sister-in-law, Veronica Grant of Loachapoka, AL; two brothers-in-law, Chris Jackson of Camp Hill, AL and Chad Jackson of Huntsville, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
