The Opelika Police Department has formally charged the suspect connected to the incident that occurred early this morning in the area of South 10th Street and Avenue B.
Jonathan Collins Donnan, 32, was discharged from East Alabama Medical Center and subsequently transported to the Opelika Police Department for questioning. Following the investigation, Donnan has been arrested and charged with Attempted Murder, Shooting into an Unoccupied Vehicle, and Criminal Mischief, First Degree.
