Christopher Brian Woodhouse, known fondly to friends and family as Chris, lived his life with a joyful spirit that touched everyone he met. Born in Hawkinsville, GA, on May 6, 1971, Chris’s laughter and kindness brightened the world for 54 years until his peaceful passing on January 11, 2026, in Tallassee, Alabama.

Chris grew up surrounded by a loving family who treasured his funny and faith-filled nature. His mother, Annette Cargill, a charter member of Fairview Baptist Church, fondly remembers the exuberance with which her son lived his life. He also leaves behind a beloved aunt Dorothy McDonald, his uncle Winford Raughton, and his cousin “Aunt” Susan Sanders, whose lives were deeply enriched by his loving presence. Along with a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins, Chris shared an immersive love that was the hallmark of his character. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Woodhouse, with whom he now shares the joy of eternal peace.

Known within his community for his enduring faith, Chris was a cherished member of Fairview Baptist Church, where he developed a special friendship with Brother Carl Benedict. His faith was an integral part of who he was, guiding his actions and interactions with an unwavering commitment to love and kindness.

A man of varied passions, Chris was particularly avid about motorcycles and cars, exuding an infectious enthusiasm that drew others into his world. But perhaps the greatest testament to his life is the way in which he chose to live it – fully, with laughter, and with an open heart. Chris Woodhouse was indeed a remarkable individual, whose memory will continue to be a source of joy and inspiration for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Though Chris’ presence will be missed, the impact of his life will long resonate in the hearts of those who loved him. We celebrate and honor the legacy of Christopher Brian Woodhouse – a life lived with passion, laughter, and an abundance of love. May he rest in peace, as we carry forward the memories we cherish.
