December 7, 1964 ~ January 3, 2026 (age 61)

Mr. Dennis Joseph Anglin, 61, of Valley, AL passed away January 3rd, 2026, at East Alabama Medical Center.

Born December 7th, 1964, to the late Jim and Bettye Anglin. Dennis is proceeded in death by his parents, brother Mike Sims and grandson Barrett Young.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Tammy Anglin, two sons, Adam (Abbie) Young and Garrett (Brittney) Young, 4 grandchildren Evan, Charleigh, JT and Clara-Ann Young. He is also survived by his brother John (Terri) Anglin and sister Rita (Thomas) Gauntt, nephews, Zack (Hannah) and Nick Anglin, Logan and Conner Gauntt, and Bryant (Natalie) Sims. His sister-in- law’s Kathy (Randy) Norred, Charlotte Hollis (Craig Arwood), and Wanda (Toney) Smith along with many other nieces and nephews.

A high school graduate from Chambers Academy, he went on to obtain an associate degree in arts from Southern Union and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Troy State University. Dennis worked for manufacturing companies in the Chambers County area and was a 32nd Degree Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge #74.

Dennis loved his boys, grandchildren, Auburn Football, collecting the Budweiser Clydesdale steins, and old westerns. He enjoyed trying new recipes. His very contagious laugh and smile will truly be missed.

Funeral services for Dennis will be held on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Lafayette cemetery. Pastor William Dickinson and Mr. Eddie Adams will officiate. Dennis’s family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
