Ms. Brenda J. Ballard, 72 of Five Points, AL passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Ms. Ballard will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, 2:00 PM CST at Greater Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Rodney Thoams, Pastor | Officiating, Rev. Justin Freeman | Eulogist.

Burial will follow in Standing Rock Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.

Ms. Ballard leaves cherished memories with her son, Steven Ballard of LaGrange, GA, a bonus son, Marshon Harper, three sisters, Mae V. Ballard of Five Points, AL, Mozell Johnson of Atlanta, GA, and Linda Ware (Frank) of Opelika, AL, two brothers, William A. Ballard of Five Points, AL and Charlie J. Ballard (Ann) of Atlanta, GA, two granddaughters, Jordan Ballard and Lorin White, both of Auburn, AL, three special nephews, Terence Ballard, Charles F. Ballard and Charles R. Ballard, special nieces, Shaniece Ware, Tasha Harris, Doris Evans (Joseph), Linda McDonald, Sonya Billingsley, Skykira Ballard, Lazaria Carr and Toni Sturdivant, a very special friend, Bernice Foster, a special cousin, Johnnie Jackson, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
