Ms. Julia Ann Copeland, 78 of LaGrange, GA passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.

Ms. Copeland will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, 12:00 PM EST at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lanett, AL, Pastor Jesse J. Walker, II | Officiating.

Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, AL.

Ms. Copeland leaves to cherish her wonderful memories to three godchildren whom she loved unconditionally, James “Dusty” Phillips and Peggy Kate Phillips, both of LaFayette, AL, and Mariyah “Moosie” Jackson of LaGrange, GA, four sisters, Lillie Kate Harris of LaGrange, GA, Willie Jean Phillips of Roanoke, AL, Nancy (Jimmy Lee) Higgins and Eyvonne (William) Carwell, both of Lanett, AL, one brother, O.D. Wright, Jr., of Roanoke, AL, sister-in-law, Virginia Wright, three special nieces, Sheena Huguley and Charnell Crow, both of LaGrange, GA, and Kathy Wright of Roanoke, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
