Mrs. Willie Mae Booker, 80 of Lanett, AL passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Booker will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, 3:00 p.m. EST at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Lanett, AL, Rev. Justin Freeman, Pastor, Bishop Donald Lancaster, Officiating, Rev. Dr. Lamar Johnson, Eulogist.

Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett, AL.

Mrs. Booker leaves to cherish her memories, two dedicated daughters, Freda (Roger) Williams of Lanett, AL and Lavaria (Tedius) Griggs of Valley, AL, six grandchildren, Rodericus (Shereka) Booker, Freriquz (Michelle) Williams and Vintavious Booker all of Lanett, AL, Latishia Booker of West Point, GA, JaWann (Arnetia) Booker of LaGrange, GA, and Tedius Griggs, Jr., of Valley, AL, eighteen great grandchildren, Romesha Booker, Fredarious Williams, Markevious Booker, Rodericus Booker, Jr., Kyra Winston, Kintavious Dozier, ZaKaliee Dozier, Ayshunteuntae Booker, Vintavious Booker, Jada Booker, Jordan Booker, M’Kynzie Booker, Madisyn Booker, Mason Booker, MiAngel Booker, Patrick Booker, Eliana Booker and Abigail Booker, two great-great grandchildren, Cameron Booker and Wynter Booker, sister, Loiuse (Sam) Bryant of Valley, AL, three brothers, Mack (Brenda) Gates, Willie Gates and George (Teresa) Gates all of Valley, AL, special sister, Ann Gates Pitts of Buffalo, NY, special brother, Jessie Gates of Buffalo, NY, brother-in-law, Bobby (Phyllis) Stiggers of  Lanett, AL, two sisers-in-law, Cheryle Gates of Indianapolis, IN, and Ann Gates of Knoxville, TN, two special nieces, Valerie Patterson and Dr. Tanda Canion, special friends, Thelma Reed, Glady Hill, and Cynthia Barrow, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
