WADLEY, AL – Southern Union State Community College is excited to announce the
expansion of its Cosmetology program to the Wadley Campus beginning Fall 2025.
As one of the College’s longest standing and most successful career programs, this expansion reflects Southern Union’s continued commitment to providing accessible, high-quality career training across all campuses.
“The Cosmetology program has long been a cornerstone of our technical offerings,” said Todd Shackett, President of Southern Union. “We’re proud to now offer this opportunity to our students in Wadley and the surrounding communities.”
With state-of-the-art equipment, experienced instructors, and a curriculum focused on both foundational and advanced techniques, the program prepares students for licensure and a successful career in the beauty industry. Students in Wadley will now be able to gain hands-on experience and personalized training without leaving their community.
Enrollment for the inaugural cohort of Cosmetology students at the Wadley Campus is open for Fall 2025. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply early, as space is limited.
