Lanett Child Fatally Struck by Vehicle

According to Lanett Police, on 03/02/2025 at approximately 6 PM, the Lanett Police Department responded to the 600 block of North 14th Ave about a child being struck by a vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers found a 17-month-old male child with serious injuries. The child was transported from the scene by Lanett EMS to Lanier Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
