Valley, AL – Southern Union State Community College invites the community to an Open House at its Valley Campus to celebrate its newly renovated facilities. The event will be held on February 24 at 3 pm CT.
Designed to enhance student learning and hands-on training, renovations to John Carmichael Building which houses academic courses as well as the Medical Assisting Technology (MAT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), and Veterinary Technology (Vet Tech) classrooms and labs, will be on display. To further enhance the student experience, renovations to the student break room were made, including the addition of a new micro-market.
“We are thrilled to showcase the upgraded facilities at the Valley Campus,” said Robin Brown, Director of the Valley Campus. “The renovations are part of our ongoing commitment to providing students with the highest quality education and training to ensure that they are well-equipped for success in their fields.”
The Open House will offer attendees a chance to tour the newly renovated spaces, speak with faculty members and students, and learn more about the programs that are exclusive to the Valley Campus. The event is open to the community.
