Chambers EMA has issued the following weather advisory for East Alabama.
For Chambers County expect showers on and off throughout tonight A line of storms will move through overnight, severe weather is not expected.
Monday night through next weekend the lows will be in the 20s and highs in low 40s.
Winter weather is possible Thursday and Friday. No details on that yet.
As for the rest of the state , expect periods of showers on Sunday, a line of heavy rain with a few embedded thunderstorms is expected to sweep across central Alabama Sunday night. A couple storms may manage to become severe, favoring the western part of the state. Otherwise, it will also be a breezy day and night with gusts upwards of 35 mph.
