Mrs. Mary McFarlin Sanders, 76 of Roanoke, AL passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA.
Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Mrs. Sanders will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, 11:00 a.m. CST at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Roanoke (Welch Community), AL, Reverend Calvin Trammell, Pastor / Eulogist, Reverend Antonio Oliver, Officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Sanders leaves to cherish her memory: a son Daryl Neitzel-Sanders (Shannon) Milwaukee, WI; daughter Keisha Tigner (Corey) Roanoke, AL: 3 grandsons: Keimon Sanders, Shaquan Glass and Javares Veal: 3 granddaughters: Brittany Sanders, Jacoriah Tigner, Janay Tigner; 7 great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Kinsleigh, Brynleigh, Messiah, Khole, Kobe, Kamryn: a beloved brother Hayward McFarlin (Sandra) EL Paso, TX: an uncle Huey L. Thompson (Gertha) Huntsville, AL: two aunts: Sadie Cooper, Chillicothe, OH; Jeanette Thompson, College Park, GA: special nieces who were like her daughters: Chinea Boyd (DeMoten) LaGrange, GA; Tamara Beasley (Shameka) Hogansville, GA; Candace Robinson (Joseph) Valdosta, GA: a special nephew Kelvin McFarlin EL Paso, TX.
Her most loved in laws: Dwight Martin, Woodbridge, VA; Richard Martin, Jr, Janice Stewart, Marcia Smith, Lisa Martin, Joan Martin, Angelia Martin and Dawn Martin all of Huntsville, AL. Mamie Sanders and Shirley Sanders Triana, AL, Sue Sanders Harris Athens, AL, Carmen McCollough (Ronnie), Charles Sanders (Beverly), Maragret Sanders all of Chattanooga, TN, Michael Sanders Savannah, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
