Bonnie Faye Dobson, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024, in Columbus, Georgia. Born on October 21, 1964, in Pokomoke, Maryland.

Bonnie’s warm spirit and generous heart touched all who knew her.

She was a cherished wife to her devoted husband Edward Dobson,Sr.a nurturing mother to her beloved children, Amber Horne, Alisha Self, and Edward Ree Dobson, Jr. Also, Bonnie was a loving grandmother and aunt to her 6 grandchildren and 11 nieces and nephews. Bonnie was also survived by her dear sister, Rhonda and husband, Max Horne, as well as sisters, Sandra Brown, Dana Walker, and brother, Wade Lumpkin.

Bonnie is preceded in death by, her daughter, Harley Dobson, her parents, Nonnie and Eldridge Lumpkin, as well as her father, Jimmy Smith.

Bonnie’s life was a testament to the love she held for her family, a bond unbroken by her passing.

Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of kindness and warmth will forever live in the hearts of those she loved. Bonnie’s compassionate nature and loving essence defined her life and will always be remembered with immense fondness by her family and friends.
