Angel Maria Elliott, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 20, 2024, in Cusseta, Alabama.

Born on March 21, 1981, in LaGrange, Georgia, Angel’s vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her. Angel was known for her infectious laughter and boundless energy. She carried these traits into her adult life, which was marked by her dedication to her family and her passion for her work. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, Angel provided care and comfort to countless individuals, showcasing her innate compassion and empathy.

Family was the cornerstone of Angel’s life. She was a devoted daughter to her mother, Margaret Elliott, and a loving sister to Jason Elliott (Nikki Nix Elliott), Virginia Adams, Lisa Foster (Jamie), Amanda Doler (Brandon), and Madison Elliott. Angel’s legacy continues through her beloved children, Collin Elliott, Hannah Elliott (Zachary), Kaylee Elliott, and Dylan Elliott, who will forever cherish the lessons of kindness and strength she instilled in them. Her grandchildren, Camden Elliott, Brynleigh Cross, Hayden Cross, Jackson Taylor, Payslee Elliott, Hariah Witherspoon, and Amya Witherspoon, were the light of her life, and she reveled in every moment spent with them. Angel’s love extended to her nieces and nephews, Annabelle Elliott, J.C. Elliott, James Foster, Cameron Foster, Jacob Foster, Gavin Doler, Harley Doler, and Mary Elliot, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She was a supportive sister-in-law to Kim Linder, and her familial bonds were a source of immense joy and pride. Angel was proceeded in death by her father, Donald Elliott.

Beyond her family and career, Angel had a zest for life that was evident in her many interests. She was an avid fisher, often found by the water’s edge, basking in the tranquility of nature. Her artistic side shone through in her love for coloring, a hobby that allowed her to express her creativity and love for vibrant colors. Angel’s affection for animals was profound, and she found great comfort in the companionship of her pets. A true competitor at heart, Angel enjoyed the thrill of a good game of darts, and she was a formidable opponent in video games, much to the delight of her children and grandchildren. Her enthusiasm for sports was encapsulated in her unwavering support for the Alabama football team, a passion she shared with her family and friends during spirited game days.

Angel’s presence was a gift to those around her, and her memory will be treasured forever. Her laughter, her unwavering support, and her ability to light up a room will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we bid farewell to Angel Maria Elliott, we celebrate a life lived with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to others. Her spirit will continue to inspire us, and her love will remain in our hearts always.

Funeral service for Angel will be held, 11:00 A.M. (EST), Monday, November 25, 2024, in the chapel of Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home, Valley, Alabama.

Interment will follow at Johnson Memorial Gardens, Valley, Alabama.

Visitation will be held, Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. (EST), at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home, Valley Alabama.
