Funeral service for Emma Knight, 80, of Auburn, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2 Day Lily Street, Loachapoka, AL, 36865 with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL, 36865, Pastor Anthony Shealey will officiate.
Ms. Emma Jean Knight, who passed away Friday, October 30, 2026 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama, was born June 13, 1946, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m.
Ms. Emma Jean Knight will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: three children, Chester (Felicia) Knight of Opelika, AL, John Knight of Notasulga, AL and Delaine Knight of Loachapoka, AL; nine grandchildren, Martavis Knight of Notasulga, AL, Franklin Vickerstaff of Mobile, AL, Desmond Vickerstaff of Loachapoka, AL, Al Andrews of Phenix City, AL, Ralphael Chez Wynn of Atlanta, GA, Leteshia Knight, Latreia Knight both of Prattville, AL, Raquavious Crowder of Mobile, AL and MikeTavious Crowder of Japan ; six great-grandchildren, Maycee Knight, Marlee Knight, Mason Knight, Mekhi Knight all of Notasulga, AL, Abram Josiah Andrews of Phenix City, AL and Kaleb Scott of Prattville, AL; two sisters, Eliza Knight and Fannie Knight both of Waverly, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family of Ms. Emma Jean Knight acknowledges with grateful appreciation all acts of kindness, prayers, cards, telephone calls, flowers, and words of comfort extended to us during our time of bereavement. May God bless each of you.
