Ms. Clarice Canady Davis, 74 of Dadeville, AL passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Ms. Davis will lie in repose at the church one hour prior the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 7, 2026, 11:00 AM CST at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Dadeville, AL, Rev. G. H. Pulliam, Pastor | Officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Davis leaves to cherish her memories to two loving daughters, Dwanna (Julian) Phelps of Atlanta, GA and Vernetta (Rev. Tommy) Stone of Alexander City, AL, three bonus daughters: Evelyn Shealey of Dadeville, AL, Felicia Edwards of Apollo Beach, FL, and Shari Ware of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Nelba (Henry Sr.) Crayton of Camp Hill, AL and Velria Jones of Dadeville, AL; four brothers: Melvin (Uli) Canady of Munich, Germany, Tim (Jodi) Canady, Frankie Jones, and Frederick Jones, all of Dadeville, AL, sisters-in-law, Ida Canady of Tuskegee, AL, Mary E. Canady, Dorothy Canady, Myrtis Canady, all of Dadeville, AL, and Laura Russell of Valley, AL, one brother-in-law, Rev. Mac Arthur Moss of Dadeville, AL, thirteen grandchildren: Alkina Stone, Rodney Johnson, Jr., Clarissa Johnson, Savannah Jiles, Kennetra Crabb, Nakita Crabb, Kobi Crabb James Shealey, Sidney Shealey, Jeffery Calhoun, Tre Holstick, Anfernee Jennings, and Shawndarius Jennings; eighteen great-grandchildren, special nephews: Henry Crayton, Jr. and Akeem Laney, special cousins: Joyce Slaughter and Donna Foster, special neighbors: Anesia Hatcher, Geneva Heard, Calvin Stone and Ocie Brooks, our beloved special family: Michael, Heather, Brian, Holland and Payton Eaton, special thanks to Rodney Stroud for keeping Mama’s yard so beautiful, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
