Mrs. Dora Mae Stroud, 80 of Camp Hill, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFaytte.
Mrs. Stroud will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, 11:00 AM CST at Murray Chapel AME Zion Church in Camp Hill, AL, Rev. Jerome Spence, Pastor | Officiating
Burial will follow in Mt. Lovely Baptist Church Cemetery in Camp Hill, AL.
Mrs. Stroud leave memories that will forever be cherished by her one and only daughter, Doris (Printes) Beals, her one and only sister, Florene Bivens, motherly aunt-in-law, Mattie Doris Greathouse, three sisters-in-law, Lillie M. Lockhart and Dorothy Smith of Opelika, Alabama, and Mary Reeder of Camp Hill, Alabama; one brother-in-law, Joe F. Stroud of Dadeville, Alabama, three special nieces, Phyllis O’neal, Jasmine O’neal and Kiersten Claxton.
Dora had a circle of friends whom she cared for deeply. She loved Bishop and Sister McLeod, a very devoted friend, Daisy Rowe; Ann Crawford, Minnie Griffin, Betty Patterson, Dorothy Patterson, Mary Greathouse, Jimmy and Carolyn Russell, Willie Heard and Gwen Drake; two bonus daughters which she called the baby, Alethia Baugh and Monika Johnson, her Murray Church Family, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
