Barbara Ann Roberts, age 77, of Valley, Alabama passed away on September 5th, 2026, at EAMC Lanier Nursing Home in Valley, Alabama. She was born on June 22nd, 1949, in New Site, Alabama to the late Tom & Ximenia Smith.
Barbara is survived by her children, Lisa Birdsong (Michael) and Jason Roberts (Kari); her grandchildren, William White (Kassidy), Temperance Birdsong, Lily Roberts, Luke Roberts, and Calen Roberts; her siblings, Charlene Steverson, Johny Smith (Freddie), and Saunders Fomby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Tommy Ruth Roark, Jimmie Sue Hill, Janice Fomby, and Allen Smith. Barbara was a member of Rocky Mount Church in Salem, Alabama. She enjoyed spending time reading her Bible and watching westerns. She loved her grandchildren.
A memorial service for Barbara will be held on Sunday, October 4th, 2026, at 4:00 PM (EST) at Rocky Mount Church in Salem. Pastor Ben Hewitt will officiate.
