Mrs. Joyce Carter, 70 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Carter will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, 1:00 PM CST at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL, Rev. Gary L. Dixon, Pastor/Officiating, Rev. Dexter Foreman, Eulogist.
Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette.
Mrs. Carter leaves cherished memories with her son, Sanchez (Brandy) Carter of LaFayette, AL, one grandson, Jordan Carter of LaFayette, AL, four sisters, Mary Nell Holloway of Montgomery, AL, Minister Diann Washington of Opelika, AL, Brenda Foreman and Debra Shaver, both of LaFayette, AL, one brother, Rev. Dexter (Chasity) Foreman of Lanett, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
