AUBURN, Ala. – On Aug. 12, 2026, Auburn Police arrested Pamela Ashley Barber, age 39, from Opelika, Alabama, charging her with three counts of unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle, theft of property first degree, theft of property second degree and theft of property fourth degree.

The arrest stems from several auto burglaries that were reported on Aug. 12, 2026. The victims reported that their vehicles were burglarized and property was stolen while parked near the 200 block of West Glenn Avenue.

Pamela Ashley Barber was developed as a suspect and, after further investigation, arrest warrants were obtained. On Aug. 12, 2026, with assistance from the Opelika Police Department, Barber was arrested in obedience to the warrants. Barber was later transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $18,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
