Sandra Kay “Sandy” Walls, age 59, passed away on July 22, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Born on April 7, 1967, Sandy lived a life marked by devotion to her family and a warm spirit that drew others to her. She was known for her loving nature and her kind heart, and she carried those qualities into every part of her life. Sandy had a gift for conversation and truly enjoyed talking with friends and family, always making time to listen, laugh, and share in the moments that mattered most. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and she will be remembered for the genuine care she showed to others.
Sandy was an avid Auburn football fan and took great pride in cheering on her team. She also enjoyed going shopping, a pastime that brought her happiness and gave her another way to connect with the people she loved. Whether she was spending time with family, talking with friends, or enjoying the simple pleasures of life, Sandy embraced each day with warmth and sincerity.
She is survived by her son, Lee Walls, and her daughter, Brooke Walls. She is also survived by her father, Buch Crenshaw; her aunts, Lu Duncan; and numerous cousins. Sandy’s family was an important part of her life, and she treasured the bonds she shared with them throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Walls; her mother, Shirley Crenshaw; her son-in-law, Dean Williams; her in-laws, Leroy and Ethel Walls; and her uncles, Randy Duncan and Ronald Duncan. Their memories remained close to her heart, and she carried their love with her throughout her life.
Those who knew Sandy will remember her as a loving and kind woman whose life reflected the best of family, friendship, and faithfulness to the people she held dear. Her memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love she gave so freely. Though she will be deeply missed, her life leaves behind a lasting example of compassion and devotion that will not be forgotten.
Funeral services for Sandy will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. (EDT) at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama. Brother Jason May will be officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Sandy’s family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. (EDT) until the service hour at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama.
