Ms. Gena Renee Cook 64 of Valley passed at her residence on June 10th. Ms. Cook was born August 4th, 1961, in Newnan, Georgia to the late Steve Alexander Smith and Helen Geneva Harris. She is survived by one daughter Ashley Langston (Seth), one son Stephen David Brown, three grandsons, Brandon Godwin (Amanda), Bryson Godwin (Lauren) and Bentley Godwin. She is also survived by one granddaughter Hailey Godwin and one great grandson Grayson Godwin.
Ms. Cook attended East Newnan Baptist Church where she played the piano for many years. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and caregiver and loved spending time with her family and friends.
There are no services planned for Ms. Cook.
