Angela Jean (Gunn) Gough – Lanett, AL. Angela was born and raised in Lanett/Valley area, born June 15, 1979.

She was a loving wife, mother and Loli to her grandchildren. She and her husband Donald Gough of Twenty-nine years, died in a house fire at their home in the Huguley Community on Monday, April 27, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her loving father, Thomas Stone, SR. Her son Dakota “Cody” Gough. Her maternal Grandparents, James “Red” and Betty Jean Elliott Gunn. Her birth parents James Gunn, JR and Brenda Simpson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her surviving children, Hunter Gough (girlfriend Alison), Miranda Gough (Junior Cardiel) and Andrew Gough. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Gunn Atkins (Mark), Michelle Stone Farley (Zach), Bonnie Stone Sorrells (Charles) and her brother Thomas “Bubba” Stone, JR. Her special mother, Dell Clay. Thirteen Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, children she considered as her grandchildren and multitude of friends and extended family.

Angela lived most of her life in the Valley area. She was well known as the hostess on day shift at Milano’s Italian Grill in Valley. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and riding on the motorcycle with her husband, Donald. She will truly be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

The family plans a Celebration of Life on Friday May 1st at 5:00 Eastern Time and also Saturday May 2nd at 2:00.
