During the Valley Council meeting on Monday, four Valley Police Officers were promoted to the rank of Corporal. Valley Police Chief Stacy Shirey introduced Brandon Longshore, Christian Chavez, Austin Graben, and Austin Billingsley as the new Corporals.
“These officers will now serve as shift supervisors and will be officially pinned in a ceremony tonight. It is customary for either a council member or a family member to do the pinning”, said Shirey.
After the pinning ceremony, the council and attendees erupted into applause to celebrate their achievements.
