Funeral service for Wanda Cannon, 66, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801. Apostle James Fears will officiate.
Ms. Cannon, who passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at her home in Opelika, Alabama, was born March 22, 1960, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Catherine (Donte’) Wilkerson of Columbus, GA; four siblings, Mildred Cannon of Columbus, GA, Sylvester (Valerie) Cannon, Margie Cannon and Charlie David Cannon, Jr. all of Opelika, AL; one aunt, Fannie Allen of Opelika, AL; one uncle, Joseph (Sylvia) Beard of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
