David Tindal, born in Greenville, Alabama, on May 3, 1965, passed away on April 2, 2026, in Montgomery. He was 60 years old.
David was a lifelong lover of music. He played the bass and keyboard, and he introduced his children to music very early in their lives. Among other things, he instilled in them an appreciation of different genres of music. He also enjoyed black & white television shows, as well as podcasts of old radio shows.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Tindal; son, Marcus Tindal; daughter, Ash Tindal (Javier); sisters, Judy Holder (Ron) and Peggy Tindal; nieces and nephews, Rhonda Holder, Rudy Randall (Chase), Casey Detterbeck (Andrew), Jordan Coburn (Stuart), Brian Clark, PJ McKinnon (Kaden ); Cousins Sarah Harding, Joyce Tolbert, Carolyn Hallford, Nancy Benson, and many other loving friends and family members. He loved and had great respect for Curtis and Jeanie Cobb (Lisa’s Aunt and Uncle), he enjoyed talking and debating with his friend Christopher Cobb.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Baptist Hospice, Palliative Care & Baptist staff on 5N for their help and compassion during this time.
He was immensely loved and will be greatly missed by his family.
