AUBURN, Ala. – On March 17, 2026, Auburn Police, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, arrested Elijah Paul Wilson, age 38, and Jordan Levi Blalock, age 34, both residing in Auburn, Alabama. Wilson and Blalock were both charged with attempted murder, robbery first degree and possession of a short-barreled rifle/shotgun.

 

During the investigation that began on March 2, when a male victim was shot at a location in the 500 block of Shelton Mill Road, Wilson and Blalock were developed as suspects, along with Melvin Sabas Alexander Hernandez Davila who is still wanted on outstanding warrants for attempted murder and robbery first degree.

Investigative developments led to Auburn Police Department detectives obtaining multiple search warrants. The search warrants were executed at two residences located in Auburn and a business located in the 1600 block of Lee Road 10. Auburn Police, assisted by USMS and ATF, recovered items of evidentiary value from each location, and additional analysis and investigative actions are ongoing.

Wilson and Blalock were transported to the Lee County Jail and held without bond pending further judicial review.

Arrest warrants for Melvin Sabas Alexander Hernandez Davila are still outstanding, and anyone with information relevant to the investigation or locating Hernandez Davila is encouraged to contact the Auburn Police Department at (334) 501-3100.
