Master Cortez Deon “Tre” Stegall, 15 of Roanoke, AL, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Master Stegall will lie in repose at the church one hour before the funeral service.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 2:00 PM CST at Christian Memorial Church in Roanoke, AL, Bishop Thomas Staples, Jr., Eulogist, Elder Brady Bell, Officiating.

Burial will follow in Skyview Memorial Gardens in Five Points, AL.

Master Stegall leaves to cherish his precious memory: his loving parents, Daphyne Heard of Roanoke, AL and Cordale Stegall of Roanoke, AL; his loving brothers, Cordale “CJ” Stegall, Jr. and Cordarius “Shawn-D” Stegall, both of Roanoke, AL; maternal grandparents, Cindy S. Heard of Roanoke, AL and Willis “Rogers” Heard of Tacoma, WA; paternal grandparents, Stacy and Tony Dozier of Roanoke, AL; maternal great-grandparents, Vernon Hardnett and Willis Heard, Jr. both of Roanoke, AL, and Willie Mae Heard of Columbus, GA; and paternal great-grandmother, Bessie Stegall of Roanoke, AL. Cortez is also lovingly remembered by many other relatives who will forever cherish his memories, including his aunts: Adrian (Andrew) Cannon of Grantville, GA; Candice (Carlos) Heard-Vines of Roanoke, AL; Myieshia (Brandon) Brown of Millbrook, AL; Jessica (Lawrence) Houston of Roanoke, AL; and Whitley (Shamarek) Abney of Douglasville, GA, uncles: Cedrick Heard and Galvin Heard both of Roanoke, AL; Terrance (Leteshia) Stegall of Auburn, AL; Mortavious Bryant and Christopher Bryant both of Roanoke, AL, along with a host of cousins, extended family members, classmates, and friends.
