Funeral service for Dell Turk, 82, of Auburn, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Ebenezer C.M.E. Church, 616 Day Lily Street, Loachapoka, AL, 36865, with interment in Mt. Pelia Missionary Baptist Church, 377 Lee Road 78, Camp Hill, AL, 36850. Reverend Robert Strickland will officiate.
Ms. Turk, who passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born January 23, 1944, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Turk will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Stuart Echols of Auburn, AL; three sisters, Mozell Warren of Orlando, FL, Josephine Stinson of Albany, GA and Lillian Crabb of Auburn, AL; one brother, James Echols of Champaign, IL; one sister-in-law, Ida Pearl Echols of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
