Funeral service for Fred Welton, 67, of Auburn, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Friday, February 13, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel. Bishop Nolan T. Torbert will officiate.
Mr. Welton, who passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born February 22, 1958, in Jefferson County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Kamiyah (Davonte) Welton; two grandchildren, Jackson Barnard and Jourdan Douglas; four siblings, James Welton, Doris Smith, Robert Welton and Brenda Madison; three nieces, Debra Welton, Rosa (Cary) Lilly and Latonia (Arnold) Welton Stephen; one nephew, Jeremy (Brandi) Welton; a host of other relatives and friends that love him dearly.
