LANETT – On Saturday, over 27 teams participated in the 3rd Annual Beulah Golf Team Tournament held at the Point Golf Club in Lanett. This four-man scramble, consisting of 18 holes, serves as an annual fundraiser to support the golf team’s expenses.
“We raised over $8,500, with a profit of just over $6,000,” said Beulah Golf Coach Davis Lamb.
The winning team, comprised of James Hall, Dylan Knoles, and Ryan Fowler, shot an impressive 18 under par, securing their spot in the winners’ circle.
The Bobcats kicked off their golf season on February 10th and will have a busy March, competing in several tournaments.
“We are very grateful for the turnout and the sponsors who made this such a great tournament,” added Lamb.
Next on the schedule for Beulah is the Panther Invitational at Bull Creek in Columbus, followed by the Aggie Invitational in Sylacauga. Beulah will also host its own tournament later on.
