VALLEY- At the City of Valley’s Mayor and Council meeting on Monday, Valley Police Chief Stacy Shirey announced the promotions of three officers.
“As soon as I took over as Chief, the first thing I wanted to do was establish my administration,” Chief Shirey said. “The first announcement I have is regarding Captain Chris Daniel, who will be my right-hand man. He is being promoted to the rank of Assistant Chief and will serve as my number two at the police department.
Next, Lieutenant Chris Davis is being promoted to Captain and will oversee the Patrol Division, making him the second-in-command within that division.
Additionally, Lieutenant Lorenzo Harris has been promoted to Captain and will take charge of our Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and its investigations,” Shirey explained.
The Council, along with family and friends in attendance, erupted into applause to congratulate the newly promoted Valley Police Officers.
